Experiences for Sailors and Shark Lovers
Ebeltoft´s old town, with its well-preserved houses, cobblestone streets, and many fascinating shops, is in itself one of the most unique tourist attractions in Denmark. Visit the Old Town Hall, the Glass Museum, and the town’s many glass artists. See the frigate, Fregatten Jylland, the longest wooden ship in the world, which participated in the Second War of Schleswig in 1864. It is now fully restored and rests in Ebeltoft’s dry dock.
If you need to relax while ‘digesting’ the many new impressions, the beach is only 0.5 km away. Rent bicycles and take a trip to explore the beautiful scenery at Mols Bjerge hills. Head to Kattegat Centre in Grenaa and learn more about marine life.
Ree Safari Park and Djursland Summerland
Need a day filled with extra speed, excitement, fun and different experiences in nature? Then consider a trip to Ree Safari Park, or the Nordic region's largest amusement park, Djurs Summerland. Avoid the queue if you buy tickets at the hostel.
