    Tivoli is a popular Amusement Park in Copenhagen. It is one of the most visited amusement parks in Europe, attracting millions of visitors each year from Denmark and the rest of the world.

    Tivoli offers many exciting events for Christmas and the New Year.  Experience the exciting rides such as The Star Flyer and the Golden Tower, which give an awesome view of Copenhagen, the Demon which takes you on a wild ride over 20 metres into the air, Nautilus, a voyage to the bottom of the sea, bumper cars for the young and young at heart, and Classic Carousel and Camel Trail for the children.  For the Christmas season, there are lights everywhere to brighten up the gray skies, attractions and events such as the Alp Village with sleds on snow-covered wooden houses, Tivoli Boys Guard Pixie Band, New Year’s Fireworks – the best fireworks show in town, the Nutcracker, the Crazy Christmas Cabaret with ‘One-Eyed Willy’, and much more. 

    The shops in Tivoli sell a variety of Christmas items, products for the home, t-shirts and all types of souvenirs.  Stroll through the Christmas gardens and take in the winter atmosphere.  There are a variety of restaurants to choose from in Tivoli, and they will stay open until 00:30 to welcome in the New Year.  Don't miss the fantastic fireworks display which begins at midnight.

    Danhostel Esbjerg has a New Hostess

    Sally Due Sperling will be the new hostess at Danhostel Esbjerg on January 1, 2020. She will replace Marianne and Børge Bull who will say goodbye after 23 wonderful years as hosts at Danhostel Esbjerg. Sally is not a stranger to Danhostel as she is the current hostess at Danhostel Kolding and will say goodbye at the end of 2019.
