Danhostel Faaborg is situated in the centre of town in two attractive and well-preserved buildings dating back to the end of the 19th century. The two buildings were originally a cinema and a house for the needy. Our hostel is now a relaxed, cosy retreat surrounded by fantastic scenery, with the South Funen archipelago just outside the door.
At Danhostel Faaborg, you get 21 comfortable rooms with a total of 76 beds, free Wi-Fi, bicycle rental, free parking, a cosy TV lounge and a well-equipped guest kitchen. Other nearby amenities include marked walking trails and cycle routes, a beach within walking distance, forests and mini golf. A 25-m swim hall with sauna, fitness centre and more is only 50 m away.
Faaborg, one of Denmark’s oldest and most beautiful market towns, is located at the foot of the Svanninge Hills next to the water. Many visitors enjoy the popular marina, Faaborg Harbour, and Faaborg Museum, which is home to many of the Funen painters’ extensive art collections. Climb the Bell Tower and marvel at the South Funen Archipelago and the fantastic landscape which includes Svanninge Hills.
Take a trip to Faaborg and stay in our cosy hostel located near the picturesque Funen archipelago.
