In Kerteminde, The Garden by The Sea, there are great educational opportunities for the young ones to dive into history, biology and culture or enjoy a day with a nature guide at Lundsgaard Estate. With Danhostel Kerteminde as a base, there are good opportunities for activities in the open air.

Danhostel Kerteminde is in the middle of the beech forest near the child-friendly beach known as South Beach (Sydstrand). Many of our school camps return with new classes year after year. We provide the best setting and offer 31 rooms all with private bathrooms, free parking and free Wi-Fi.  We have a living room in the basement, an enclosed courtyard with outdoor chess, table tennis and a large barbecue area. We have a sports ground as our nearest neighbour, and we are within walking distance of the Fjord & Belt Centre. The Johannes Larsen Museum and the Ladby Viking Museum are also close by.
