Sally Due Sperling will be the new hostess at Danhostel Esbjerg on January 1, 2020. She will replace Marianne and Børge Bull who will say goodbye after 23 wonderful years as hosts at Danhostel Esbjerg. Sally is not a stranger to Danhostel as she is the current hostess at Danhostel Kolding and will say goodbye at the end of 2019.
New Hosts at Danhostel Faaborg
Danhostel Faaborg has been renovated from top to bottom and will be ready for guests in less than a month.
As of January 1, 2018, Eva Hviid will take over from Kurt Klindt as the new hosts of Danhostel Faaborg. She is up to the challenge and ready for an exciting and new adventure.
Eva plans to extend the season so that the hostel will be open all year. Guests can enjoy the newly renovated facilities at Danhostel Faaborg starting February 1, 2018.
She says, "To run a hostel is a dream come true for me, and it is in such a fantastic town. I love to provide great service and give people good experiences, so I'm looking forward to making Danhostel Faaborg the place where people want to stay."
A Hostel with a View
Danhostel Faaborg, with 21 rooms, is situated in the market town of Faaborg with the South Funen Archipelago and Svanninge Hills just outside the door.
In the spring of 2019, the Danhostel brand published a manifesto and new strategy to implement the 17 UN Sustainable Goals over the coming years. Several Danhostels have already embraced many of the initiatives. Danhostel Ebeltoft has already implemented 4 of the 17 World Goals.
