Sally Due Sperling will be the new hostess at Danhostel Esbjerg on January 1, 2020. She will replace Marianne and Børge Bull who will say goodbye after 23 wonderful years as hosts at Danhostel Esbjerg. Sally is not a stranger to Danhostel as she is the current hostess at Danhostel Kolding and will say goodbye at the end of 2019.

Football is a unisex team sport. Football is matches, competition, training and training camp.
At Danhostel there are good facilities for football players both on natural grass and artificial turf. Indoor pool, gym, and mountain bike are just some of the possibilities for you and your team when you are in need of a break after a day on the grass and turf.
In addition, Danhostel ensures good, nourishing food which can make any football player happy. Football clubs come to Danhostel because they know that all the necessary details will be cared for by the specific hostel. When football players book training at any Danhostel, a program is prepared for them which includes training times, meal times, room allocation and a test match.

Danhostel Vejen and Vejen Sports Centre operate one of Denmark's most specialized sports centres. This includes sports, exercise and, last but not least, training camps.

Jakob explains that Danhostel Vejen Sports and Conference Centre quickly saw the opportunities to expand its activities within sports and athletics. At Danhostel Vejen, badminton and other racquet sports are only a small part of the many activities we offer at training camp. Training camp before the championship is very important for many swimmers, so at Danhostel Sport, we do everything to ensure that your training and diet are at a high level. Danhostel Esbjerg, next door to Denmark’s Swimming Stadium, has extensive experience with swimmers from home and abroad who come to train before competitions.
"Swim clubs come here because of the good training facility with both 25 and 50 metre lanes. A good diet is incredibly important for swimmers. Both mealtimes and the menu are tailored to their training," says Marianne Bull, the host at Danhostel Esbjerg, a part of Danhostel Sport.
She continues, “Camps for swimmers last from a weekend up to three weeks, so it is important for them to feel at home when not in the pool.”
Kim W. Larsen, Swim Coach at Gladsaxe Swim Club says, “Danhostel Esbjerg is outstanding. Swimmers train a lot so it is important for them to stay in a good location. Danhostel is the best. Good training within walking distance, and the right type of food. In the winter, we like to go abroad, but if we cannot, we prefer to stay at Danhostel Esbjerg."
The host at Danhostel Esbjerg, Marianne Bull, explains that swimmers are a unique type of guests. She says, “Swimmers usually train for about two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. The rest of the day they often use to relax. Others go to the gym for extra training. Swimmers are very serious about their sport. It is also important that swimmers receive professional treatment at Danhostel. Right from the first contact, the idea is to provide the best possible service. When we get the initial call, we make sure that we book a swim hall, plan meals, accommodation and so on. In this way, we make sure everything is under control when our guests arrive," says Marianne.
