    Danhostel (aka Danhostel Danmarks Vandrerhjem, and the hostels which are members of the Association), may send me eposts, (e.g., emails, text messages, MMS, notifications, push notifications, widgets, letters) and can contact me by telephone regarding relevant products, campaigns, competitions and marketing via apps, social media, internet and other digital channels.

    Danhostel may collect and use my personal data and activities, and combine such data with other information it already has or has obtained from third parties.  This includes cookies (from Danhostel's websites and used, for example, to make a profile which can be marketed towards me.

    Generally, Danhostel only collects personal information to provide you services you require when you register for Danhostel's Loyalty Program, sign up for Danhostel's Newsletters, order brochures or participate in competitions.

    The information you submit when you sign up for Danhostel's Loyalty Program or Danhostel’s Newsletters is used by Danhostel to target the announcement in the newsletter. Danhostel does not disclose this information to third parties.

    Booking via

    At, we provide this web-based platform where individual Danhostels can offer their rooms for accommodation purposes and where users of this website can make reservations directly with the individual Danhostels.

    By making a reservation via, you enter a legally binding contractual relationship with the Danhostel where you make your reservation.  The reservation is processed via an application, which means that you are booking directly with the hostel using Booking confirmation and the hostel's booking conditions come directly from the hostel and payment goes directly to the specific hostel.

    At, the information we provide is based on the information we receive from the hostels, both via an extranet and through their own booking systems which they are fully responsible for updating. All prices, available rooms and other information found on are the responsibility of individual hostels and requests for booking should be directed to the specific hostel.

    Although we monitor the web platform carefully, we cannot verify and guarantee that the information for all hostels is accurate.

    We cannot be held responsible for any errors, interruptions, server violations, updating or maintenance of our website or any other, inaccurate, misleading or incorrect information.

    Every Danhostel is always responsible for ensuring that its information found on our (including prices and number of available rooms) is accurate, complete and correct.


    When making a reservation at a Danhostel, you accept and agree to the applicable cancellation and no-show policy applicable to the specific Danhostel along with its other terms and policies.  It is the individual Danhostel which should be contacted directly for more information about booking and late cancellation as we want to ensure the close relationship between the individual Danhostel and guests.

    The general cancellation and no-show rules for each Danhostel can be found at during the booking process as well as in the email confirmation from the hostel.

    We recommend that you read the accommodation's rules for cancellation and no-show policy carefully before completing your reservation. and the Danhostels who use the website for the sale of hostel stays are subject to errors in prices and texts and are not obliged to sell their products at the mentioned price on the website - if it contains errors.
