Den Permanente Beach

Den Permanente is a sandy beach located in Aarhus.  The beach lies in a beautiful area with Riis Skov (Forest) in the background.  It is popular with locals and visitors and is used for beach volleyball and kayaking.  The Viking Club members use Den Permanente for their winter bathing. There are separate changing areas for men and women, plus areas for barbeque and bonfires.  A kiosk is conveniently located at the beach and there are always lifeguards on hand.  Close to the beach is the cosy restaurant, Sjette Frederiks Kro.

It is easy to get to Den Permanente beach.  It is a 7-minute walk from Danhostel Aarhus - 2 minutes by bike, and just over 10 minutes from Danhostel Aarhus City by bike.  Aarhus City Centre is only a 10-minute bike ride away.

Join the many young ones who come to enjoy the beach, bask in the sun and have clean fun.
