Odense Concert Hall

If you love the symphony, pay a visit to Odense Concert Hall.  Built in 1982, it is home to Odense Symphony Orchestra, which provides a wide repertoire of music such as children’s musical, open-air concerts, winter and Christmas concerts. There is much collaboration with Danish and international musicians, so no matter your language or classical preference, there is always a special performance at the Concert Hall to suit you. 

The Carl Nielsen Hall was built especially for the Orchestra. It has fabulous acoustics, an organ with 46 stops, and can accommodate just over 1,200 guests. In his music and memoirs, Carl Nielsen, Denmark’s most renowned composer, and a native of Funen, always spoke highly of his native island.
