E-Commerce Terms and Conditions for Danhostel's Webshop

Below you will find the terms and conditions regarding the purchase of products and services from Danhostel's (Danmarks Vandrerhjem) webshop. Learn how we handle your data in accordance with personal data laws, how you can obtain a receipt for products/services, etc.

Payments
All prices quoted on Danhostel's webshop and other locations on our website are in Danish kroner and includes all taxes; for example, VAT (value added tax) - unless otherwise stated.

Payments are accepted for online purchases only when you use an approved debit/credit card. International cards are subject to a fee when you make online purchases. The amount of the fee will be clearly displayed on the bill before the sale is finalised.

Information about Online Purchases

Shipping and Handling
You will always receive confirmation of your purchase from Danhostel.  Your invoice can be printed from the website after completion of purchase and a copy will be sent to your e-mail after your purchase.  Please provide a current e-mail address when ordering.

Order Danhostel Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid up to 3 years from the date of issue
Delivery of gift cards take place within 7 working days
There is a 14-day cancellation period for gift cards

Registration of Information
Danhostel registers your data received in connection with your purchase in its customer database. The data is stored for 5 years and is not disclosed to anyone.

Danhostel uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to optimise security of the data you provide to us.
When paying by credit/debit card, registration takes place via a secure server where the information is encrypted before being sent over the Internet.

Complaints - Information on Redress
If for any reason you do not receive confirmation of your purchase and there is an error message from the system, please write to our address below, or contact us by email at danhostel@danhostel.dk.

If you wish to complain about a purchase made via Danhostel's webshop, you are welcome to send a complaint to Danhostel's Main Office at email: danhostel@danhostel.dk. Your complaint will be processed as soon as possible.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you discover the error. The right to appeal is terminated one year after the original order date, pursuant the Danish Sale of Goods to section §83, Act. 1, unless otherwise agreed.
