    Terms of payment and delivery

    Below you will find useful information in connection with the use of online booking. For example, you can read about how we handle your details, how you will receive your receipt for any purchases, and much more.

     Payment

    All prices stated in DANHOSTEL Danmarks Vandrerhjem's online booking system are the same as they are elsewhere on the website, stated in Danish kroner inclusive of VAT and all charges unless otherwise stated and made clear in the situation in question.

    Payment is made by using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards for online booking, including Dankort, VISA and Mastercard. International payment cards attract a transaction charge as stated via online booking. The size of the charge will be made clear on the transaction before final completion of the transaction. All online transactions using DANHOSTEL Danmarks Vandrerhjem's online booking system attract an administrative charge of DKK 10.

     Information on Internet transactions

    You can make secure transactions on the Internet via our online booking system. As a consumer, you are automatically covered for any misuse of your credit card on the Internet, so you are not at risk of personal liability for misuse of your credit card on the Internet. You can read more about your position as a consumer making payments on the Internet on the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.

     Sending and delivery

    On booking and paying for a room and any additional purchases such as breakfast, linen hire, etc., you will be shown a contract/confirmation from Danhostel Esbjerg Vandrerhjem, showing the invoice for your purchase. The contract can be printed out from the website after you have completed the booking, and it will also be e-mailed to you immediately after the purchase, provided that you have stated a valid e-mail address at the time of booking.

    Delivery of the product you ordered takes place upon your arrival at Danhostel Esbjerg Vandrerhjem on the arrival date (and is completed upon your departure on the departure date). Both these points are stated in the afore-mentioned contract.

     

    Right of cancellation and refund

    When the booking is for less than 2 nights the reservation can be cancelled free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The amount of the booking is refunded, minus a cancellation charge of dkk 175,- If the booking is cancelled later than 3 days before arrival or should the visitor not arrive this amount is not returned.

     

    When the booking is for more than 2 nights, the reservation can be cancelled free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The amount of the booking is refunded, minus a cancellation charge of dkk 250,00. If the booking is cancelled later than 7 days before arrival or should the visitor not arrive this amount is not returned.

    Cancellation must be in writing and must be sent directly to Danhostel Esbjerg Vandrerhjem

     

    Registration and details

    DANHOSTEL Danmarks Vandrerhjem will record your name, address, e-mail address and other details provided in connection with the purchase in its customer file. Your details will not be passed on, but DANHOSTEL Danmarks Vandrerhjem will retain this record for 5 years.

     

    DANHOSTEL Danmarks Vandrerhjem uses serverside cookies and a secure connection to provide security in relation to the details you supply on the website.

    For payment by credit card, your information is recorded using a secure server, where the details are encrypted before being sent via the Internet.

     

    Complaints handling

    If for any reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address below or telephone us.

     

    Any complaints about the booking process, the actual booking or the product (your stay) must be lodged within a reasonable time after you have, or should have, become aware of the error by means of a general review of your contract. You may complain in writing or verbally. One year after receipt of the product (your stay), the right to complain lapses pursuant to the Sale of Goods Act Section 83(1), unless otherwise agreed.

     

    When Danhostel Esbjerg Vandrerhjem receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be dealt with as soon as possible.  Danhostel Esbjerg Vandrerhjem will decide whether you are to receive a refund or exchange for the product received, or whether you are to be given a price reduction.
