Do you like to meet new people when you travel? Have you planned a trip to Copenhagen? Then check out Danhostel Copenhagen Bellahøj where personable hosts, Angela and Poul Wiedemann are pleased to welcome you to peaceful and relaxing nature just 4 km from Copenhagen's shops and attractions. We are close to a wealth of sports activities and every day we serve a large delicious breakfast buffet. Bellahøj is known for the TV-series Anna Pihl, and for sledding.

Welcome to all: From single guests and single parent families, to other families, groups and school camps.

Guests from all over the world spend time at Danhostel Copenhagen Bellahøj: A single father of two from Sweden, two friends from Bornholm, a father and daughter who stay so they can go to the football games, e.g., FCK-Brøndby, and a mother and son who want to tour Tivoli and see a movie afterwards.  What do they have in common? They enjoy the peaceful, quiet surroundings at the hostel and the opportunities to socialise with other guests after a long day in the city.  Guests often mention the personal services they receive at the hostel and many say, "You are always so willing to help us."  That is just one of the many positive feedback Poul and Angela have received. Therefore it is no surprise that over half of the guests who stay at Danhostel Copenhagen Bellahøj come again and again.  Some come up to five times each year, while most stay with us every year so they can visit Copenhagen and enjoy the many cultural attractions.

Bellahøj in the TV-series Anna Pihl, including the area's best Sledding

Bellahøj is known for its sledding and the TV-series, Anna Pihl, a police woman who wants to be the best employee she can be, but struggles to be there for her son.  Bellahøj's name originated in the 1700's when a merchant named Moses Levin Martin Leopold Mariboe erected a hobby farm and named it after his wife, Bella Henriques. Later, the farm became a place for livestock shows, a flea market and a camp site. Today it is best known for its sports centres.
