If you didn’t know, it has just been proven: Holidaying in Denmark is popular. New figures show that 80% of Danes spend at least one holiday per year in Denmark. This is happening at a time when many think that a holiday abroad is more exotic especially in places off the beaten track. But no. It is popular for Danes to spend holidays at home.
Danhostel has a new website and book portal so it is faster and more convenient for guests to book their accommodation online. In addition to the new website, Danhostel Advantage cards used by Danish residence have gone digital, so all plastic cards can now be recycled. Foreign visitors will still use their Hostelling International (HI) cards as before.
The website's new design has a typical light, clean Scandinavian look. The site is user-friendly, has great pictures, plus easy-to-read texts which will provide a great user experience for our guests. We wanted to adopt a modern look and feel that fit today’s design trends.
The booking flow is now optimized so our hostels are easier to access on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
