Danhostel Fredensborg Acquires New 'Management Team.'
Danhostel Fredensborg’s new Managers bring Gastronomy, Service, Aesthetics, and Atmosphere.
On April 1, 2015, Danhostel Fredensborg acquired a new management team - husband and wife pair, Anders and Charlotte.
Danhostel Fredensborg is located in a 7000 m2 park in the town of Fredensborg, and is next door to Fredensborg Castle, the spring and autumn residence of the Danish Royal Family. There are 54 rooms - thirty four of which are en-suite, and a total of 112 beds. The amenities include a large light garden room, a bright TV lounge, a large professional guest kitchen, a play corner with various toys, and free internet and parking. Dogs are also welcome. Close by is a forest, and a lake for swimming and fishing. The railway station situated in the centre of town is only 6 minutes from Danhostel Fredensborg, so transport is easily accessible. The hostel is close to the larger cities of Elsinore and Hillerød, and the lovely beaches in Hornbæk and the surrounding areas. Danhostel Fredensborg caters to single travellers, couples, groups, school camps, and provides facilities for conferences and meetings. There are always kind staff on hand to help with any questions you have.
The charming town of Fredensborg is centrally located in North Zealand, close to Sweden and just over half an hour from the city of Copenhagen. The famous Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, one of the most visited museums in Denmark, is only 17 minutes by car from the hostel. The well manicured and beautiful baroque gardens at neighbouring Fredensborg Castle date back to the 1700’s, and can be viewed all year. Tours of the royal family’s private vegetable garden with an orangery are available only in July.
Danhostel’s Main Office and the rest of the Danhostel family bid the new Managers a warm welcome and look forward to working with them.
