Ørstedparken

Two minutes from Nørreport you will find a green oasis called Ørstedparken.  The Park was first opened in 1879.

In the summer there really is nothing better than going to get lunch at Torvehallerne or L'appetit and eating on the grass at Ørstedparken. Here you can experience birds chirping, flowers blooming, dogs wagging their tails (while on a leash) and local Copenhageners worshipping the sun on their blankets in the grass. Once you are done eating you can take a stroll around the lake along the narrow, winding pathways through the incredible greenery.

The park also has a small café and two playgrounds for children.

    Torvehallerne's address: Nørre Voldgade 1, 1358 København
