Good start for Danhostel Gjerrild's New Hosts.
After just one year as new hosts at Danhostel Gjerrild, Nina and Stephen took home the prize as this year's master chefs at Danhostel. The prize was awarded to them as they received the highest score based on customer reviews throughout the Danhostel chain.
The hosts are not Danish. Nina has Finnish roots and Stephen is from England. Their educational background is from the creative industry, so it was not on the cards that they would be hostel hosts. It goes beyond saying that they have done a fantastic job as hosts and Danhostel's Main Office is pleased that the former hosts at Danhostel Gjerrild convinced Nina and Stephen to take over the management of the hostel.
Activities out of Season
Nina and Stephen have done their best to ensure that there is life at Danhostel Gjerrild throughout the year and have arranged a Jazz afternoon and "Finnish your dinner," a Finnish experience on Danish soil.
