Sally Due Sperling will be the new hostess at Danhostel Esbjerg on January 1, 2020. She will replace Marianne and Børge Bull who will say goodbye after 23 wonderful years as hosts at Danhostel Esbjerg. Sally is not a stranger to Danhostel as she is the current hostess at Danhostel Kolding and will say goodbye at the end of 2019.

Fifty-three old Sally Due Sperling has 26 years’ experience hosting and managing hostels, so she is an obvious choice as the hostess at Danhostel Esbjerg. In addition to Danhostel Kolding, she has previously been the hostess at Danhostels Fredericia and Copenhagen Bellahøj. Danhostel Esbjerg will benefit from Sally’s knowledge of working with hostels which specialise in city breaks, sports stays, courses and camp schools, and she will continue the working relationship with Esbjerg's players in sports, business and culture. She says, “I have ambitions to further develop Danhostel Esbjerg by attracting guests such as sports groups, cycling tourists, study groups, school camps, students and other groups.”

20,000 Overnight Stay and Delicious Cuisine
Danhostel Esbjerg, which is owned by Esbjerg Municipality, has 53 rooms which can accommodate about 200 guests. The hostel welcomes 17,000 - 20,000 guests each year. Danhostel Esbjerg's focus on fine cuisine is known by many, so Sally would like to maintain that focus. She will target sports groups and swimming groups since Danhostel Esbjerg is close to the Swimming Stadium Denmark and ice hockey stadiums.

Sally will live at Danhostel Esbjerg and be an active member of the community in Esbjerg.
